The Bottom line:

August had similar numbers to July. The biggest number is the median home value for August was almost 10% higher than the previous year. 10% is a huge jump for the median home price in one year.

The Bottom line:

July had slightly less homes sold than the previous month and the median sales price dropped a bit, signifying a slight change in our market.

June was the best month for sales in our city's history. Total under contract numbers were down over the last two months though and our inventory is slowly starting to come back after the crazy Spring market.

April was the craziest month that we have had in years. May is showing signs of slowing down (but not much), which means we may be past the peak of the market for this year. This sales boom we've experience this year has pushed our median sales price way up to $262,000.

According to the new data released by the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS®, the Colorado Springs real estate market is showing signs that 2016 is going to be even more aggressive than 2015 was.

The Bottom line:

Our Days on the Market is down to 60, which is the lowest it has been in years. This is due to a steady increase in home sales for the past year, all while our inventory has slowly depleted. It looked liked more homes were going to be coming on the market with November's data, but December still shows signs that there are many more homes being bought than currently being listed for sale. This is what creates a strong seller's market.

The Colorado Springs Real Estate Market Report for November, 2015

According to the new data released by the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS®, the Colorado Springs real estate market is still going strong, but starting to slow down a bit for Winter as expected.

The Bottomline:

Our Days on the Market is down to 59 days, which is the lowest that it has been in years. This is due to a steady increase in home sales for the past year, while our inventory has slowly depleted. Fortunately, this is also the first month in a long time where we have had more homes listed than in the same time a year ago, so we should start to balance out by Spring if the numbers continue in this direction.
